Certified Tutor

I am currently an English Student at the University of Maryland Global Campus with a deep interest in writing and literature of many varieties. I have over three years of teaching experience and many more years of writing experience. I enjoy teaching and absolutely adore instilling a love for reading, writing, and literature in those that I work with. I know that these are not the easiest subjects to love, but I believe that by starting with materials a student is passionate about and working up to more daunting and difficult ones, love (or at least tolerance) can be achieved. To put myself through school I have been working as a special-needs nanny for a family with two small children, which has included a little bit of teaching as of late, but working with teenagers and young adults is what I love much more.
