Certified Tutor

Hi,
I am a special education teacher and have been teaching for about two years. I graduated from Notre Dame College with my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (General Curriculum) for grades K-12. I have taught both middle and high school. Although I enjoy teaching multiple grade levels, I also have a love for elementary school. Even though tutoring is a new experience for me I do have teaching experience in content areas including, Social Studies (6th-8th), Mathematics (middle school), Language Arts, and Functional/Independent Living Skills. One of my favorite subjects to teach is math!

I believe that everyone has the capability to learn but that not everyone learns in the same way. That is why I strive to deliver instruction based on my student's individual needs and learning styles. Learning is meant to be fun, not frustrating. It is my goal to help each of my student's experience learning in this way.

In my spare time, I enjoy swing dancing, reading, spending time with my family, hiking with my husband, organizing, and planting. Looking forward to working with you soon!
