Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of both Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and Eastern University in St. David's, PA. I received my Bachelor of Arts from VCU in African American Studies with a minor in Women's Studies. I have also received a Master of Arts from Eastern University in Urban Studies with a concentration in Community Development. Through employment opportunities, I have had the pleasure of working with many students striving towards academic success and high school graduation; serving in both a case manager/mentor role as well as a tutor. I am well versed and have tutored students in all subjects, however my passion lies in the academic areas of English, Reading Comprehension, Literature and History. Besides my love for my family and world travel, helping students excel academically is what adds meaning to my life. I have been afforded the opportunity to pursue higher education and have done very well for myself; therefore I enthusiastically wish the same for every student that I invest time into.
