I am a graduate of The University of Missouri-Kansas City. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics & Statistics. After graduation, I completed my Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of Central Missouri. As a lifelong learner, I decided to enroll at Emporia State University to work on a Masters in Math/Statistics, I hope to be completed with this soon! I have been fully certified to teach dual credit classes through UMKC.

Over the past 20 years I have taught math in the classroom, grades 6-12. Even though I have been in the classroom for two decades, I have even more experience as a tutor. I have been tutoring students in math for over 30 years. I am comfortable teaching all levels of math and/or statistics. I also have decades of experience helping students prepare for Standardized Tests.

I believe that in order to excel at math, you must master previous concepts. Many students have gaps in their learning, which has been made even worse by the Covid Pandemic. I will help you understand the WHY and HOW the math works, so you can truly understand it.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids. We play a lot of board and video games together! I also enjoy reading about new scientific and medical breakthroughs. I also collect pop figures and other collectibles depicting favorite tv or game characters!
