With over 10 years of experience as a private tutor, and the last 3 of those years as a qualified secondary science teacher with a specialism in chemistry, I am passion about passing the knowledge on the next generation to create a positive change in the world as informed individuals.
I have received my BSc in Biomedical Science and MSc in Material Science Engineering at the University of Sheffield between 2015-2019. In 2020, there was a shortage of science teachers in London that inspired my decision to pursue a career in teaching. I passed my PGCE Secondary Science with QTS at St. Mary's University London in 2020, following 2 further years to train full-time.
I enjoy tutoring topics under the scope of sciences and maths, because it has helped my tutees and students to make sense of the world and themselves in the process. I believe my role is not to educate from scratch but rather to further your understanding and widen your knowledge a little bit more than before, that is why anything can be understood by first appreciating what we already know.

Outside of academia I am an avid traveller, having been fortunate enough to experience the culture and food of 41 different countries, across 5 continents. Currently, I am expanding my skills in sewing and gardening, while preparing myself for my first marathon before the end of the year. Other than that, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, singing and playing the piano.
