I am currently a journalists. I earned my bachelor of science degree at Frostburg State University. I minored in Journalism and Public Relations. Since graduating my degree I've worked in three different states: Idaho, Virginia and Alabama. Before this I started of behind the scenes learning what television news is really like. That experience helped me learn from the best in the news industry. I love what i do as a journalist and that's I want to help cultivate a passion in a student wanting to be better with writing, reading, journalism, etc. I've been in the industry for almost 10 years and a lot of what i learned I didn't get from text books, it was the hands-on experience that helped me perfect my craft. This is why I'm passionate about helping a student see how they can be better in these particular fields and the importance of it. When I'm not working, I will read or listen to a good book and journaling is another hobby of mine.
