Certified Tutor

I am a dedicated elementary school reading tutor with a passion for empowering students to reach their full potential. With experience in both general and special education classrooms, I have had the privilege of witnessing incredible transformations in my students' reading skills.

My approach is centered around building strong connections with students and their parents, while cultivating a positive and supportive learning environment. I firmly believe in student-centered instruction, where positivity, motivation, and encouragement form the foundation of every lesson. Witnessing the growth and success of my students brings me immense joy and fulfillment.

My primary focus is on teaching K-5 ELA classes, where I foster a love for reading and writing. I have had the pleasure of working with students who have made remarkable progress and found themselves excelling in reading and writing within a few months.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, watching movies, trying my hand at drawing and painting, and following ice hockey, NFL football, and college football. My favorite activities include spending time with my husband, our beautiful children, and our beloved pets. These interests not only keep me engaged and inspired but also allow me to bring a diverse range of experiences and perspectives into my tutoring sessions.
