Hi, I'm Imran Mir, a private tutor with a Master of Science degree in Sports Management. I have several years of experience teaching business and sports to degree level, as well as key stage 3 English and Maths, and economics to degree level.
I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with students, and helping them achieve their full potential. With a strong academic background and practical experience in sports management, I provide a unique perspective on the business world, helping students develop a deep understanding of the industry.

In addition to my passion for teaching and learning, I enjoy leading an active lifestyle. As someone who values physical fitness, I make a point to regularly attend the gym and engage in a variety of sports, including cricket. I find that staying active not only helps me maintain good health, but also sharpens my focus and enhances my overall wellbeing.
Aside from sports and fitness, I am also an avid reader and enjoy exploring new literature on a variety of topics, particularly those related to education, leadership, and personal development. Additionally, I enjoy volunteering in my local community and have spent time mentoring and coaching young people in sports and other areas of interest.

I have been working as a full-time Sports Tutor with Morthyng Group Limited for the past 3 and a half years. In this role, I design and deliver sports-related courses to students, covering topics such as coaching, sports science, and management. I work closely with students to provide them with personalized support and guidance, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals. As a Sports Tutor, I also assist with the administration and coordination of sports-related events and activities, ensuring that students have access to a range of opportunities to develop their skills and interests.
I have over 6 years of experience in teaching and tutoring in the subjects of business, sports, economics, English, and Maths. My teaching experience ranges from Key Stage 3 all the way up to degree level. I have delivered over 400 hours of one-to-one private tutoring and have taught in a variety of schools using different exam boards such as Pearson, AQA, and WJEC.
As a study skills tutor, I work with two special need learners who are studying Law and Business at the undergraduate level. My primary responsibility is to support these students in their studies by helping them develop essential academic skills, such as critical thinking, time management, note-taking, and exam preparation.
I provide one-on-one tutoring sessions that are tailored to each student's unique needs and learning style. During these sessions, I work with the students to identify their strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies to help them overcome any obstacles that may be hindering their progress.
In addition to providing academic support, I also help my students navigate the challenges of university life, such as managing their workload, dealing with stress and anxiety, and balancing their studies with other commitments.
