Certified Tutor

I'm a second year undergrad student at Lancaster University. I study Computer Science (B.Sc. Hons) and have achieved a 2:1 minor in Accounting and Finance.

I have solid knowledge of many programming languages and computing concepts. I aim to not just provide answers and solutions to students, but also build solid foundations for learning, foster interest and help ingrain best practices and conventions. I want to help students learn to create code that not only functions but is also elegant, efficient, and maintainable.

Not long ago, it was me sitting my GCSE and A-Level exams. Many times in the past my teachers have failed to provide adequate support and teaching at all to me, leading me to rely on self-teaching, online resources and other tutors videos. I want to be able to give back and provide other students who may feel their teachers are failing them.

Programming and Computing are a core part of my life through both education and my hobbies. I would like to be able to tutor people who share that same passion for computing, or those who need help finding it.
