I am a recent graduate from Newcastle University, receiving my BA in German and Portuguese with Translation and Interpreting. I have been travelling in Portugal and Spain since graduating and lived in Austria for two years prior to completing my final year., gaining near-native fluency in Spanish, German and Portuguese as a result. During my last year of university, I was teaching students with 'Routes Into Languages North East', giving students an introduction to different languages they may not have so much contact with in school. This included teaching classes of students how to read the Cyrillic alphabet within 5 hours (to a great level of success!) Now I work as a polyglot tutor online with several students, teaching German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese up to A Level and French up to GCSE. I always seek to invigorate my students with the same passion I feel for languages and take a very interactive approach to my teaching, often using media to benefit the student's learning experience. All of my students who put in the work will see results, and, most importantly, will enjoy the process of improving.
