Certified Tutor

I graduated from Rochester Adams High School, one of the best schools in Michigan. I am currently attending Brigham Young University for my undergraduate in Special Education. I loved tutoring during high school because it made me feel like I was making a difference in a student's ability to succeed in their schooling. I am passionate about helping students actually learn and understand the content of a class rather than just memorizing things for a test, just to forget it afterwards. I know from experience that putting in the effort to truly understand something is so much more helpful in the long run because it allows you to build on that knowledge and not get even further behind when new concepts arise. My favorite subjects to tutor are algebra, pre-calculus, and Spanish. Outside of my school life, I love to spend time with my immediate and extended family by doing things like playing sports/outdoor games, singing karaoke and jamming out to music, and camping/backpacking.
