Certified Tutor

I am a University Lecturer in Sport Science, Exercise Physiology and Metabolism. I have a BSc and MSc in Sport Science from Kingston University London, and am working towards a PhD in Sport Science and Exercise Physiology.

I teach regularly across multiple institutions and find the process of teaching extremely rewarding. I love seeing the hard work of students pay off in an increased understanding of a subject, and in turn, better results.

My teaching style is a combination of direction and discussion. I like to begin by introducing and explaining concepts, but find great value in discussing topics and talking through a topic to improve the understanding. I find this a far more successful method than simply speaking at someone. I am therefore very discussion based, as I find this the most effective way to ensure complete understanding.

I teach Sports Science and Anatomy & Physiology. Two subjects I am hugely passionate about.

Outside academia I am a keen runner, and love all forms of exercise, from rowing and open water swimming, to resistance training. I am also an avid reader, both in sport/exericse related books, as well as crime novels.
