I'm passionate about helping students because, as a lifelong learner, I continue to marvel at the world around me - and I want to share that. I have worked for years with older students - some who never thought they could achieve - and watched them graduate from college. I have bachelor's degrees in English and elementary education, and a master's degree in criminal justice. These are the subjects I enjoy tutoring. They are my favorites because, once you have mastered these subjects, you can succeed in any field. When I teach, I teach toward the future, and the "why" of learning. Outside of academia, I am a crime reporter who uses skills from both these topics every day.
