Certified Tutor

I am a fully qualified UK Teacher of Science with a specialisation in Chemistry (QTS and PCSE from the University of Worcester). I have a degree in Genetics from the University of York, and worked in the field of medical research prior to teaching.

I have experience of teaching science for Key Stage 3 (11-14) and GCSE (14-16) Combined Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for various UK exam boards during my four years as a classroom teacher.

As a one-to-one tutor for over two years, I have taught in person and online lessons for A level Biology and Chemistry, GCSE Separates Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and GCSE Combined Science. I have experience in, and resources for, all the main UK exam boards.

I have also tutored US High School Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, GED Science, and for UK University entrance exams aimed at international students.

I am passionate about igniting the students' interests in the world around them in order to bring out their best efforts and achieve their goals. I adapt or create resources and lessons tailored to the individual in order to maximize student learning in every session.
