I have worked with a wide range of students from age 4 to their 30s, always working to build deep understanding and confidence in a subject. I particularly enjoy tutoring in math, statistics, and chemistry -- these are some of my favorite subjects from school, and I like helping my students understand them better because I know they can be stressful for people! I have a B.A. in Psychology from Penn, a M.A. in Teaching (7-12 Mathematics) from Loyola University Maryland, and am working towards my Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from University of Maryland. I've previously worked as a math and science teacher, as well as writing questions for the AP Statistics exam.

Outside of academics, I really enjoy reading (Star Wars books are my favorite!), taking walks with my Siberian Husky, and a wide range of video games (including Civilization, Fallout, Pokemon, and Mario Kart). I also grow plants: I have a little garden in my apartment that includes herbs, spider plants, and even a banana tree!
