Certified Tutor

I have a Master's in Teaching in elementary education in addition to a Master's of Library and Information Studies. I have work experience in the classroom, but also nearly four years of experience working online as a tutor. I love teaching, especially math. I feel that my biggest strengths are patience and kindness. My teaching philosophy guides me to focus on the student's strengths and build upon those, helping each student become more confident in their own skills and knowledge. My tutoring style is to gently guide the student, supporting them in their work as needed and gradually encouraging their independence and problem solving.
