I am a graduate of Sask. Polytechnics with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. I am taking my Bachelor of Arts in general studies with a focus on English studies. I have my TESOL as well. Since graduation from Sask. Polytechnics, I have worked with many children from birth to 18 years of age. Most children have been special needs as my husband, and I were foster parents for 10 years. While fostering and working in the Early Childhood Education field, I tutored children in a broad range of subjects, but mostly English and writing. I am very passionate about English, reading, and writing. I discovered my love of reading and writing from an early age. For the past 5 years, I have been tutoring children in ESL, as well as numerous other life skills. I am a firm believer that children learn best through play, therefore I try to make all my tutoring lessons fun and engaging with stories, puppets, and other props. I believe that a good education is pertinent to a good quality of life, and I try to impart this in every lesson. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, painting, baking, and trying to improve my life through learning about good nutrition and exercise.
