I graduated from Pacific University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching. Prior to that I studied Environmental Science and Italian for my Bachelors degree. I have been teaching formally for 25 years. I have 16 years of face-to-face experience with middle school students and four years of experience with elementary school students. I have also taught English online for 4.5 years. I am passionate about languages, science and history. I love teaching and learning language. I have studied many languages including Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese and Russian. I am a natural science lover. I enjoy biology, botany and earth sciences. Ancient world history is my forte. I have studied and taught about Ancient Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, Egypt, China, Mexico, Peru, and India. I have even traveled to many of these countries to visit ancient sites and see the actual artifacts in museums.
