Certified Tutor

I am an avid reader and writer that loves to share my enthusiasm with students. As a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego with majors in English and Creative Writing, I have studied various novels for all age ranges and believe some wisdom can be gained from most stories, if you dig deep enough. I recently worked at a sleepaway summer camp where I discovered my joy for working with youth, especially those managing the tough transition from middle school to high school. My approach is patient and attentive, and I prefer to learn how each student learns best rather than sticking to a rigid curriculum. When I'm not working with students or sleeping, I like to read independent comics, play obscure video games, and walk around looking for cool bugs.
