Certified Tutor

I love being a teacher! It is such a joy to watch students grow and develop! My favorite thing is to watch the "light turn on" in a students mind. I graduated from Murray State University, Murray Kentucky and have a Bachelor's degree. My major was in Political Science and I minored in Legal Studies. I have 8+ year(s) teaching experience. I have taught many different subjects to different age groups, in various settings. I have taught ESL for over four years. I taught for one year in Japan online and in person. I have spent the past three years teaching ESL online. I homeschool my children and have loved teaching them how to read. I have taught science at a local co-op, which was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had teaching! While in college I tutored college age students with learning disabilities. I also taught school to the children of women in recovery from addiction and homelessness. It is my goal to make learning fun, educational, engaging. My favorite subjects to teach are reading, English, and grade school science. I also very much enjoy teaching ESL.
