Certified Tutor

I have been an English tutor (from young children to adults) for over 20 years. I was a certified teacher for 10 years. I have certifications in Elementary Education (K-6), Special Education (K-12), Pre-K ESE, as well as endorsements in Reading and in ESOL. I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am TESOL certified (120 hours). I have taught everything from preschool through adult learners. I have taught gifted students, general education students, ESOL, and special education students. I love teaching and interacting with children of all ages and abilities. Each and every one of us has a purpose in this world. Teaching has allowed me to be a witness and guide students into discovering their interests, passions, and abilities. I speak 3 languages (English, Portuguese, and Spanish). I was born and raised in the USA. My husband took a new position at work, so we recently made the 800-mile move from Florida to Louisiana. We have 5 beautiful children, 4 cats, and 1 dog. We love animals. I especially love sunflowers, cats, and unicorns!
