I graduated from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 2007 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I worked for several years before returning to graduate school. I Graduated from Otterbein University in 2012 with my Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner. Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of fields including Primary Care, Oncology, and Hospice and Palliative Care. I have also had the opportunity to teach as a clinical instructor of undergraduate nursing students! I remember the struggles of studying in school and preparing for the NCLEX and AANP exams so I am passionate about helping others navigate the challenging topics in the field of nursing! My teaching style is fun but effective and I believe the key to success is discovering each students individual learning style! Once you know how you learn best, you can focus your time and energy to make the most of your study time learning in ways that help you retain the information and set you up for success! When I am not working as a tutor or as a NP I enjoy spending time with my 2 kids and husband, going to the beach and just being active outside!
