Certified Tutor

I graduated in 2002 with my Bachelor's in Nursing, and again in 2018 with my Master's in Nursing Education, both degrees obtained from Indiana Wesleyan University. I currently am employed by an independent community hospital as a clinical nurse educator. I enjoy tutoring because it is rewarding to me on both a personal and professional level to know that I have had an impact on the success of a learner. I do tend to be casual in my teaching style as I am used to teaching adults, I prefer to have conversations about topics rather than deliver lectures, but that style generally does well with adult learners. I am most comfortable tutoring anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, Adult health, nutrition, other nursing courses, and NCLEX review, but am open to other learners who think I would have subject knowledge.
