Certified Tutor

I am a Digital Marketer and Buyer at a university bookstore where I use my business and marketing degree to serve students and families of the school. Throughout many of my semesters at university, I have tutored at the local elementary school, helping K-5 students in subjects such as math, language arts, and social studies. This has been one of my favorite parts of my semesters, and I especially enjoyed helping students in reading and writing. In addition to tutoring elementary school students, I worked as a peer tutor through the university's Academic Enrichment Center where I specialized in business classes, specifically Accounting and Economics. I enjoy being able to combine my love of teaching and meeting new people by being a tutor, and I hope to help students in whatever way I can, while also creating a fun and interactive learning environment. In my spare time, I love watching a good Disney movie, sitting back with iced coffee and a book, or going on a hike with my husband.

When I find myself with spare time, I enjoy being outside either in a hammock or on a hike. I also enjoy being able to relax with a cup of coffee and a good book. I hope to run my own side business again and enjoy the process that owning a small business entails. Music has been a passion of mine since I was a child, and I enjoy playing piano and accompanying others as well as playing the ukulele just for fun.
