Certified Tutor

I'm a licensed physical therapist who has spent 7+ years in higher education. I got my B.S in Kinesiology from Penn State, followed by my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. While at Penn State I worked as a teaching assistant for 3 years in an anatomy/physiology class, which included a cadaver lab and lecture portion. I am excited to help students in the subjects of anatomy, physiology, and similar physical therapy subjects because finding a passion for anatomy during my freshman year of college helped shape my entire career path! My tutoring philosophy is based on helping students not just memorize answers, but truly understand concepts. To accomplish this we will work together to create long-term goals and manageable steps along the way to get you there!

I strongly believe that all goals are attainable and I would love to help you begin the path to success today. Outside of academia, I love playing recreational sports (mostly basketball), listening to podcasts (recommendations are always welcome), and petting any dog I see on the street. I'm excited to get to know you and work together to reach your goals!
