I am a graduate of Clemson University. I earned a bachelor of science in Marketing with a concentration in services. After college I returned to NYC to teach math in the South Bronx while I earned a Masters Degree in Regular Education and Special Education. Since returning home I have taught primarily middle school science but have also taught ELA (English Language Arts) and middle school math. During the last 14 years I have also tutored many students ranging from 5th-9th grade. I have tutored math, ELA and science. In school, science has become my passion, but tutoring ELA and Math yield the greatest results for my students. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy reading non-fiction (especially survival stories), coaching basketball and playing anything with my 4yr old daughter.
