Are you willing to learn, help build study skills and find solutions to academic struggles? Work with me for guaranteed study tips and overall academic excellence in all several fields of study!
Being that I am in a STEM related major of civil engineering at City College of NY, seeking my bachelors degree, I currently work with college students in chemistry 1 and 2. I have taught kids of all ages math related subjects ranging from elementary algebra to algebra 2/trig. As a student myself, I have the capabilities to teach those the most effective ways to learn these subjects and approach uncertainties in these complex STEM subjects. My academic excellence proves so, as I strive for my students to succeed and motivate themselves to work hard.
Outside of school, I am a very adventurous person: enjoying hiking, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. I love to explore! Additionally, to keep myself informed and read books on topics I am unfamiliar with. It is important to also learn outside of the classroom! For example, on topics such as finances, culinary skills, and or real world debates. It is always great to keep one constantly thinking and challenging yourself!
Being a student myself, I know what it is like to feel lost and unsure of where to start. Knowing I have the chance to tutor kids, I know that I am able to help them and this creates a great learning experience. I am very passionate, patient, and love what I do. The ability to see kids strive for excellence is one that has many rewards in my achievements. Based on all my past skills and experiences, I am a great fit and look forward to the opportunity to help kids in all their future studies!
