Certified Tutor

I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with Bachelors degree in Accounting. I once worked as a corps member with City Year where I was similar to a teacher's assistant in elementary school classrooms. I would work with students on an individual basis if need be also. I would like to tutor in math, pre-algebra, algebra, algebra 2, middle school math, etc. I've always loved math since elementary school. It's just always been interesting to me and I'm good at it. I believe I can help others to find math interesting too. I would love to help them in that process. I know there are times when all a person needs is a little assistance in understanding different concepts. I would like to be the one to help. Once a concept is explained thoroughly to a person and they have the opportunity to apply it to the problems they receive that is when the education will become ingrained in the person's learning. Outside of math I listen to music to pass the time. I like alternative, R&B, and hip hop music. I hope to meet you and we could get to know one another while learning math, pre-algebra, algebra, algebra 2, middle school math, etc.
