Certified Tutor

Hi everyone, my name is Felix! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 and I start my Master of Physician Assistant Studies program in 2019. I currently tutor 8th/9th grade Algebra 1 and I was also a running/biking coach for an elementary school program for over a year. Despite mostly working at the elementary and middle school level, I can tutor high school and college students as well - specializing in math, writing, and science subjects.

Being a student myself, I understand the importance of and at times, difficulty, in finding effective studying strategies. As a tutor, I want to pass on the knowledge and techniques I've developed throughout my years in school and help guide students to reach their academic goals. My tutoring style is "slow and steady". For me, I believe in taking the time to focus on mastering the fundamental concepts of a subject, using that knowledge as a foundation to enrich and further develop one's understanding. Whether it's by designing a personalized lesson plan for the student or adapting to their individual learning habits, I am dedicated to working my hardest to provide students with the best opportunities possible.
