Certified Tutor

I have taught reading, writing and literature classes in nationally-acclaimed higher educational institutions for almost ten years. My teaching portfolio includes courses for graduate and undergraduate students, as well as for high school students, professionals and adult learners. I have also taught a range of subjects at these institutions: SAT Reading and Writing, Language, GRE Analytical Writing, GRE Verbal Reasoning, business writing and PowerPoint presentations, literary interpretation, history of criticism, eighteenth and nineteenth century British and American Literature, and colloquia for senior theses. Though the courses and students vary (and my strategies vary with the demands of each student), one thing remains consistent: I teach with the STUDENT'S goal in mind. Another way of phrasing this idea: I offer strategies tailored to help each student attain his or her individual idea of success.
