Hello future students! I am so excited to be a part of 51Թ. Although I am qualified to teach all subjects in traditional classrooms, I have a very special place in my heart for struggling readers. I teach using a multi-sensory approach. By using all of a student's senses, I am able to get and hold their attention and make learning fun and relevant.
As a Texas Certified educator, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special and Elementary Education, I have over 18 years of classroom experience. I am also certified teach ESL students in first through eighth grade and pre-k and kindergarten students. I would enjoy the opportunity to help a child struggling with learning to become a successful student.
