Hi, my name is Abby Rocha and I am a certified secondary mathematics teacher with a true passion for helping students learn. I have tutored college students for three years, worked as a teaching assistant for two years, taught in a high school setting for three semesters, and I have conducted extensive mathematics education research. I strive to increase each student's conceptual understanding of the mathematics they are learning. It is also very important to me that students understand the reasoning behind the mathematics they are learning. Making mathematics enjoyable for students is also something that I feel is very important to their success as a mathematics student. I look forward to working with you!
