Originally from Los Angeles, I graduated from Harvard with a BA in English for my undergrad. I am an experienced educator, having peer-tutored students at Harvard and had many private music students over the years of all ages and levels. As an English major, I wrote many papers and edited those of my peers. I believe the best teachers help students use their own intuitions and reasoning to discover knowledge or arrive at conclusions. I have broad knowledge in the humanities, including two master's degrees in music (composition and performance) from the Guildhall School of Music in London and the New England Conservatory in Boston. As a freelance musician, I have flexible hours.
