I currently work for one of the school districts here, as a Special Ed. Associate and Paraeducator. I started here in August but worked for a different school district for the last two school years. So i've been working in schools since 2015. I have two children of my own, my son will be 3 in August and my daughter will be 2 in July. I am working on finishing my associates degree right now at DMACC for Early Childhood Education, then will be transferring to a 4 year college to get my bachelor degree . I have enough credits to get my Child Development Associates Certification meaning I could be a lead teacher in a daycare center. I just chose to keep going instead of stopping there. I am a certified Paraeducator through the Iowa Board Of Education.
