Jane is a native of Michigan and a graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. At WSU, she majored in Linguistics with a minor in English. Jane enjoys sharing her love of the English language by tutoring ESL (English as a second language) to clients of all age groups.

Jane spent three years living in Germany in Frankfurt and Recklinghausen where she studied the German language.

Jane worked for eighteen years in the Telecommunications industry, where she provided leadership to Fortune 500 companies throughout Michigan. Janes experiences in the Telecommunications industry have prepared her to be a goal-oriented tutor.

In recognition of her volunteer work Jane is the recipient of the 2007 Outstanding Volunteer and Certificate of Appreciation from Communities in Schools, the 1995 Spirit of Detroit Award from the Detroit City Council for her literacy volunteer work and the 1993 Stars for Literacy Appreciation Certificate from the Detroit Literacy Coalition.
