My favorite things to do are bike, cook, and write/read/listen to poetry. I have been a bike commuter for over 10 years and now also enjoy biking socially. Since I was small I was encouraged to be in the kitchen and now use cooking as a creative outlet. My other creative outlet is poetry. Although I have always found pleasure in it, this was especially escalated by discovering Spoken Word poetry through Sarah Kay.
