As an undergraduate, I was employed as a tutor for four years by the university. During this time I principally tutored students in mathematics, chemistry, and physics, in both one-on-one and small group settings. I found that tutoring not only gave me a greater appreciation for the underlying concepts that tie the sciences together, but also gave me an opportunity to help other people see those same connections, and that's an incredibly rewarding experience.
