Teaching has been an important component of my identity, informing my interests and reasons for pursuing a teaching career. I strive to support my students' growth as independent and critical thinkers. I also believe it is important that I help students develop the skills they need to effectively apply the mathematical ideas they learn during my classes in their future practices. I see my role as a facilitator who provides students with challenging assignments and rigorous, engaging discussions about important mathematical ideas.
