I found a fire thats been burning bright ever since high school; I was inspired by my algebra 2 teacher, who made math fun and whimsical. I pursued a mathematics major (at St. Cloud University) in an effort to fulfill my desire to become a math teacher. Most of the decisions that I made throughout my life were influenced by my mentors. Now, I've been teaching for more than five years and have found a great fit with Connections Academy. I continue to focus on one important attribute to high teacher efficacy, which is the notion that even under the most extreme circumstances, I believe that students can learn math no matter what. In those regards, I realize that students all learn differently and it's my goal to find out who you are and how you do math. I will use every inch of my heart in accomplishing this task.
