Hello! I am thrilled to have to have the opportunity to help you or student reach their academic goals!

I have ten years teaching experience, with many different age groups. I have a Bachelors in Secondary Education with concentration in history, I am certified to Teach English as a Second Language, and I am a certified phonics instructor. I have taught in a formal classroom setting for three years, teaching middle school and high school American history. During that time, I also taught English to foreign exchange students, and taught AP US History. I have also spent a year in Uganda, developing a home school curriculum, and teaching English at a free school in Kampala. My teaching experience also extends to two years teaching preschool in a daycare setting.

Recently, I have decided to make a career change, and focus my life on the field of anthropology. As such, I have obtained a Bachelor's in anthropology and an working toward a PhD at the University of Tennessee. I am currently a graduate teaching assistant there.
