I graduated from Washington State University. My major was Sociology with a minor in Human Development. Later, I became a teacher to assist students with learning disabilities. My biggest revelation was that everyone learns differently.

I help struggling students find their learning style and apply it. The process may not be pretty but progress is made . One strategy is "no opting out". Students work on a assignment despite believing they cannot complete it.

My approach to tutoring is two-fold for students in elementary school to high school. They must practice skills and learning strategies. This approach does not accommodate college students because of the academic workload. For them, our sessions are project-based. I cover all aspects of an assignment, including examples or critique completed projects.

I now focus on entrepreneurial education and S.T.E.M. The subjects that I tutor are: English, Language Arts and Basic Math to Pre-Algebra. I look forward to unleashing the learning potential of future clients.
