Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors of Arts in English and a graduate of William Carey University with a Master of Education in English. In my last 20 years as an educator, I have taught remedial reading, accelerated English, Pre-AP English, corrective reading, and creative writing to middle school and high school students. My primary areas of focus are reading comprehension and essay writing. I believe that everyone can learn and achieve. My goal is to help students overcome their weakness and provide them with an enriching experience that supports learning. I have broad experience with different learning styles, backgrounds, and abilities. Together we can establish learning strategies and study habits that will ensure long term success.
