My first experience teaching was in the water, helping my students learn to swim. I found that I loved teaching on land as well when I began volunteering as a math for bilingual students. Teaching is something that brings me joy because I believe there is a duality of discovery when working in this field. As a Masters student my favorite part of my role is serving as a Graduate Assistant, working one-on-one with students and watching them learn, conceptualize, and reconsider. I can't wait to work with you as well and help you along your intellectual journey!

What is your teaching philosophy?
Patience and engagement. Learning should be an enjoyable activity- broadening one's horizons in interactive ways.

Begin to build a successful relationship through establishment of trust and assessment of student needs and goals.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I think the best ways to keep students motivated is through easy-to-reach goals and games or methods tailored to student interests and needs.
