Teachers have such an important impact on the development and success of their students both short and long term. This specific influence along with a few others pushed me towards a teaching career. The world today is constantly changing and not always for the better. Students face many tough decisions after high school and many of them receive no guidance with what comes next. Providing students with an appropriate background to be successful in the real world is becoming increasingly important. Without the proper education and molding of values many students leave high school with no idea of where they go next. I will always work my hardest to provide my students with a positive learning environment where they are challenged constantly and experience success and failure. By challenging my students they will be more prepared for the obstacles and challenges we face in today's world. Likewise, students will be equipped with strategies and values that make overcoming these obstacles more achievable.
