I am currently a junior in the University of the Sciences pursing a degree in humanities and science. I am also interested in the dynamcs of healthcare and hope to obtain a masters in health policy. I love teaching subjects in the humanities such as reading, writing and history but equally love the sciences as well. My tutoring style is hands on and I like to engage the student in their learning process. I not only want students to succeed but I want them to love the art of learning.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that each and every person is unique; therefore, I firmly believe each person has a different learning style. I will work with the student to help them discover the learning style that suits them the best. Along the way I will the help the student develop a passion for what they are learning, which will essentially translate into better grades and test scores.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In the first session, I will examine the student's weak points and give the student broad strategies to help them improve.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I will help the student be an independent learner by having them work the question out and explain their process out loud.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I will ensure the lessons are fun and interactive so the student is motivated.
