I am a high school science teacher and can tutor in science, history, ESL, Math, and introductory Spanish. I enjoy tutoring students to help them achieve their goals. Working one on one or in small groups allows me to focus on the students needs and ask the right questions to explain material they do not understand. I have been a tutor for three years at the current school that I teach at. When tutoring in science, I try to explain the steps necessary to solve problems and understand the material. I connect concepts to knowledge that the student already has. This helps the student to build on their frame of knowledge. I can tutor high school or the college level. I am excited about helping students learn and would be delighted to tutor you.
