Certified Tutor

I am a student at Wellesley College majoring in International Relations with a concentration in either Economics or Political Science. I have worked with students in many different capacities from after-school programs to summer camps and enjoy all ages. I am able to tutor ACT writing and reading as well as basic math and basic micro and macroeconomics. I can also edit essays and give lessons on grammar. My favorite subject to tutor is reading comprehension because I enjoy teaching how to critically analyze passages. I believe that you have truly mastered a concept once you can explain it back to someone, so I use this idea in my tutoring style. I am very patient and understand that sometimes a concept needs to be explained in several different ways in order for it to truly make sense, so I will keep working at it until the concept is understood.

In my free time I enjoy journalling, reading, and a fair amount of Netflix. I also play Ultimate Frisbee and am a radio DJ for my college station, so my music knowledge is pretty extensive!
