Certified Tutor

After receiving a Bachelor's Degree from Maryvile University, I began a long and exciting career in pubic school teaching and administration. I taught English and Social Studies, grades 6-12, while also obtaining my Master's Degree from the University of Illinois-Springfield and completing additional graduate studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. After 30 wonderful years in pubic education, I retired to found and direct a private school for under-performing students. In this capacity, I served as the principal of this small academy and tutored middle and high school students in English, Social Studies and Math.

My passion is to see students master concepts and skills and develop into confident learners This confidence allows them to take on future challenging academic tasks with a belief that they can master what they must. I love being a part of student success!

When I am not working with students, I am playing the piano and organ for my church, reading or working on my second novel.
