Certified Tutor

I graduated from Reed College with a BA in Economics last May. I just graduated from Yale University with an MA in International Development Economics. Since graduating I worked in Communications for Mercy Corps, mostly writing for their blog. Right now I am interning at an International Development Consulting firm, in their education team, in downtown DC. I think education is absolutely essential to shaping a person’s character, opinions, and success in life which is why I enjoy tutoring, and more importantly, mentoring students. I've previously tutored the SAT and really enjoy cracking the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the exam – because I love reading and writing. I tutored Economics in college, both for classes and on an individual basis, and it is also one of my favorite subjects. When I’m not working or sleeping, I like cooking, reading, and trying new forms of dance.
