Certified Tutor

My name is JodiLyn, and I'm available to tutor in Spanish (all high school levels), English as a Second Language (all ages/levels), and all elementary school grades and subjects. I am a 2005 graduate of Bellingham High School, a 2009 graduate of Syracuse University, and am currently working on a Masters in Education in Teaching English as a Second Language from Framingham State.

My "day job" is teaching Computer Technology at an elementary school in Bellingham. My professional interests include language development/acquisition, literacy, and Spanish literature and culture. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with my family.

I believe that students are most successful when they have a dedicated and passionate educator to help them through difficult content areas. I am uniquely qualified to demonstrate how classroom skills translate to real-world achievements - I studied Spanish in school for 6 years before I spent a semester in Madrid, Spain, where I found just how much I really knew!
